Homecoming!

Heyooo everyone, my name is Andrew Martinez and this is my first semester at college. I am very loud and very proud for how I am as a person and how I live life. I LOVE to live life by the sounds of music and towards my passion to music production and the curiosity beyond fashion. I also love to play video games, cooking, arts and crafts. My favorite color is brown, love to explore the world around me as in late night drives, abandoned exploration, concerts and as well as other forms of food and music.

My first impressions towards IS101 was very much overwhelming from the start and had me scattered and cluttered all over the place. But after a couple of days and certain adjustments towards schedules and time frames, I am fully able to articulate thoroughly and be able to maintain a steady and productive pace. As for my first impressions for CSN, it would be towards the campuses being very nice and the people to perceive to be nice and mature as well.

The skill that I chose and both experienced in would be File Compression, I have been fond towards importing large files towards my academic and personal uses. I have been able to compress pictures as well as documents before forwarding or distributing them towards different people. I have also been able to manage and compress the formats like MP4 and MP3 formats to save storage within my either school devices and or personal devices, as well as storing and maintaining my video and music files accessible.

  1. Very glad you had a positive impression of CSN and you are able to maintain a steady and productive pace :-)

Yes, file compression is an essential part of audio and video files!

Welcome to college and I am proud to have you in IS101-3210, Fall 2025, Andrew ^_^

  2. Hey Andrew,

You have an appreciable energy towards life, and that’s always great to have. I have a cousin who loves music as well. He produces music, and prior to that, he DJed at a radio station. I enjoy late night drives too, especially since moving to Las Vegas, great views. I agree, IS101 was very overwhelming at the beginning, but it got manageable with time. I need to familiarize myself with file compression. I’ve had problems in the past with sending files because of file size. It was great meeting you, Andrew!

  3. Hello Andrew, I enjoy the art of music as well. Not so much of creating it but I believe music can be used for healing and is an important aspect of world culture.

  6. Hello Andrew, you have a lot of passions! What music do you like listening to and producing? Is it the same genre? I am not super passionate about music, but I do have a music passion past. I played flute in my school band for 6 years. I enjoy singing; however I cannot write music.

  8. Hello Andrew, that's a very interesting yet fun way to view life in generally. What was your first ever concert you went to and what are some concerts you recommend that are good to attend to?

I love concerts as well. I think one of the best things that you can experience in life is live music!

  10. Hello Andrew, You summarized it really well. I remember my first time on campus, and it was nothing like high school; everyone seemed nice and mature. That's a great skill that not a lot of people might know how to do, especially when sending emails.
